New Year Update

Welcome, 2023!

We hope that everyone had a happy holiday season! We are thankful for all of the support our community and clients have given LoneStar Solutions throughout 2022, and our amazing team for coming in each day and making LSS a great place to be! Here is a quick recap of 2022 and all the progress we have made this year!

Fall Festival

Our annual Fall festival attendance was doubled from last year! So many of our team members came and helped make the event a huge success! Our President & CEO, Dr. Wanda Figueroa-Peralta attended as well and helped host the raffle table.

Group Parent Meetings

We held our first group parent meeting in November, “Police Safety talk,” which was attended by police officers from several different local cities, including Grand Prairie, Fort Worth, and Arlington, who worked to help our families learn about the different ways local law enforcement are able to provide support for families of children with autism. Much was learned about safety programs available to families in our area, and we also registered our clinic with the Grand Prairie Police Department, so that if ever we were to have an emergency, first responders will know that we serve children with autism.

This was the first monthly support group meeting in several years, but we are so happy to be hosting these informational meetings again!

Renovation Updates

Our lobby, indoor playscape and staff conference room have been redecorated! A special thanks to Dr. Figueroa for assisting us with decorating these spaces during her visit in July. We appreciate the support to spruce up the areas in the clinic.

We are adding 3,651 additional square feet to the clinic! We will have a school classroom in the new space to prepare children for transitioning to working in a group.

Holidays

Santa visited our clients on Sunday, Dec. 4 and Lea Rhea generously donated her photography and time to capture the moment for us. We are so excited to be moving into 2023 and cannot wait to see what the new year brings!
