Summer at Lonestar

Spring has come and gone and we are already well into summer. At Lonestar we are celebrating so many new changes. We are excited for the future at Lonestar and hope you will continue to support and grow with us during these changes.

While the state of Texas has ended the mask mandate and other Covid related restrictions, we are still continuing all of our safety and cleaning processes. We are still requiring everyone to wear masks inside the building, child size masks are available in the lobby for clients. Virtual and limited in person parent training is still available. Please reach out to your child’s BCBA for more information in regards to parent training.

 

We Are Expanding!

We are excited about the new additions to our clinic and can’t wait to see them make progress with us!  We are now leasing new space in our current building. We will begin using this in the fall.  We have space for at least 5 more children to attend full time once school starts in August, or several part time children, such as mornings only, or alternating days with us and others in school.  Please call Kathleen Lively at 817-522-5052 about our ABA program and new services. 

Client Praises!
-One child has been making amazing progress with their communication binder and we are enjoying watching her world expand.
-One of our clients made huge progress with their eating program! He took a big bite without any tantrum and we are so excited!!!
-There are a few of our clients who are ready to start going to school and we are so proud of them and their progress.
-A big shoutout to one of our clients who has now learned over 20 signs for communication and has mastered tapping for gaining attention. These have allowed him to get all of his needs met.
– Another child has done a great job on expanding their play outside to more than just the sandbox and swing.
-Our newest client has already made progress with requesting items with more words.

Expansion Details!

We recently leased the space next door and are looking at Fall for estimated opening of our new expanded space. This will include large classrooms to help with classroom readiness, and increase peer cooperation. It will also include a community space that will hold our parent meetings, which we will start again in the fall. This also means that we have openings! Please contact us soon about your child and to schedule a tour of our clinic.

Community Events!

Movies on the Beach – Loyd Park

Loyd Park is excited to bring back Movies on the Beach! Movies start at sundown around 9:00 p.m. each Saturday night and concessions will be available for cash purchase. $15/vehicle entry fee to the park ($20 on holiday weekends), movies are FREE! Check the event page each week to see any fun activities planned before each movie as well. Show up early and bring a chair, we will see you at Loyd Park!
